St. Luke’s Wood River has added Blaine County School District superintendent Jim Foudy and The Hunger Coalition executive director Jeanne Liston to its community board. The move means Valley healthcare decision makers will have the highest level of access to leadership representing two critically challenged populations: families who are food insecure and K-12 students who’ve spent two formative years behind Zoom classrooms and face masks.

Liston is a 22-year veteran of the social health sector. As the executive director of The Hunger Coalition, since 2007, she oversees the organization’s mission to ensure everyone has access to good food regardless of economic circumstances.

Foudy is new to the Valley and is in his first year at BCSD. His 25 years of experience in public education, most recently as superintendent for McCall-Donnelly from 2015-2021, has refined an emphasis on consensus building he’s become known for.  In the Army, Foudy served four years at Darnall Army Community Hospital, in Texas, as a chaplain assistant.

Liston and Foudy join St. Luke’s Wood River Community Board Chair Jeff Smith, Vice Chair Eric Thomas, and current board members who volunteer their time and expertise, including Erin Clark, Ben Holmes, George Kirk, David A. McClusky, III, M.D., Cynthia Murphy, Almita Nunnelee, Susan Parslow, Garry Pearson, Keith Perry, Roger Sanger DDS, and Mary Williams.
