The Ketchum Arts Commission will host Boise-based Flamenco dance company Cuadro Nuevo on Saturday, July 17, at 6 p.m. at Ketchum Town Square. The performing group draws inspiration from classical guitar, contemporary dance/art performance, cultural music and Flamenco. They are focused on performing new and traditional works that represent the artists that comprise the group who are from varying backgrounds, including classical, cultural and experimental music, numerous dance forms, visual art and poetry.
Entry for the performance is free. There will be a 30-minute instructional class by artistic director Kelli Brown for all ages prior to the 45-minute performance. Brown is the founder of Off Center Dance and artistic director for Flamenco Idaho/Cuadro Nuevo.
