The City of Sun Valley, in partnership with the City of Ketchum, is preparing for construction along Sun Valley Road.
The City of Sun Valley’s portion will begin at Festival Meadows and end near the Sun Valley Gun Club entrance. Work will include drainage improvements, pulverizing the old asphalt (which will then be recycled for a new base), compacting, grading and repaving with said recycled base. This section should be complete by mid-June.
One lane of travel will be open at all times and both lanes should be reopened each night. Once complete, we think you’ll enjoy the new smooth, drivable surface.
