Footlight Dance Centre, under the artistic direction of Hilarie Neely, is presenting Cinderella, April 29 through May 1 on the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theater stage at the Community Campus in Hailey. The production premiered here in the Valley in 2007 and it’s the first production by the dance company in three years.
Cinderella will be played by Lena Gardner, a senior at WRHS, the two stepsisters by Adri Meyer and Keyle Potts, and Dakota Barth will play the Fairy Godmother. All of the students are seniors.
“Cinderella isn’t just a movie, it’s a ballet, too, and deserves to be seen in dance form,” Neely said.
