Mountain Humane said it is grateful for the outpouring of community support for the rescue of 52 Chihuahua-mix puppies last weekend.
“Our veterinary staff continues to do the essential work of processing these babies to make them ready for adoption as soon as possible,” the organization said.
The rescue comes at a high-profile time for the shelter as it has one more week to trigger a matching fund donation where all donations will be doubled up to $50,000 until March 31, 2022.
