Narcotics Team Makes Fentanyl Arrest

On Thursday, Jan. 13, the Blaine County Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested three individuals on drug-related charges as part of an investigation.

Priscilla Barrientes, age 39, of Boise, was charged with two felony counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and one felony count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance–Fentanyl. Barrientes was arraigned in Magistrate Court on Jan. 14, and was being held on a $150,000 bond in the Blaine County Detention Center.

Martin Zavala Mendoza Jr., age 25, of Caldwell, was charged with one felony count of Aid and Abet Trafficking in Methamphetamine and one felony count of Aid and Abet Delivering in Fentanyl. Zavala Mendoza was arraigned in Magistrate Court on Jan. 14, and was being held on a $150,000 bond in the Blaine County Detention Center.

A third individual was arrested for aiding and abetting Trafficking and Delivery of a Controlled Substance; however, those charges were dismissed at arraignment. That individual is being held on a felony agent’s warrant for a probation violation out of Canyon County.
