The 2020 Census data is in and here are some interesting highlights from the count:
- The population of Blaine County increased 13.5% since 2010 to 24,272 people counted
- Hailey counted 9,161 people, a 15% increase over 2010
- Ketchum grew to 3,555 people since 2010—a 32.2% increase
- Stanley now has 116 residents—an 84% increase
- Sun Valley added about 300 new residents to grow to 1,783 counted
- Star was the Idaho city that grew the most by percentage points, nearly doubling its population
- Meridian grew the most by volume—counting 42,543 more people in 2020 than 2010
