On Tuesday, Aug. 3, at approximately 7:32 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 75 near milepost 166, just north of Smiley Creek Lodge.
Crash scene investigation determined that Todd Michael Fowler, age 51, of Nampa, was traveling southbound on Hwy. 75 on a 2002 Honda motorcycle when he lost control navigating a turn in the roadway and traveled off the pavement into the sagebrush. Fowler was transported by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where he succumbed to his injuries. Fowler was wearing a helmet.
