Blaine County School District has partnered with South Central Public Health District and Luke’s Family Pharmacy to hold two upcoming vaccination clinics for students and staff members.

The clinics will include routine vaccinations along with COVID-19 vaccinations for individuals 12 and older. SCPHD will be providing routine vaccinations while Luke’s Family Pharmacy will administer the COVID-19 vaccine.

The first event will take place Wednesday, Aug. 11, from 12 to 6 p.m. at Wood River High School. The second is Thursday, Aug. 12, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wood River Middle School.

To receive the COVID-19 vaccine, children ages 12 to 15 must have a parent present at the time of administration. Individuals between the ages of 16 to 18 will need a signed parent permission form. At this time, the Pfizer vaccine is approved for those 12 and older.
