SILENCING THE INNER CRITIC

I would really like to know who invented the identity of our own inner critic. Where did the inner critic get its first jolt of energy? I am sure a newborn baby does not have an inner critic that says you are crying too much and you are messing too many diapers. Can’t you just get it together. This whole journey of being human has been distorted by so many opinions that say you must behave in a certain way. If you make your intention one of love and kindness, your inner critic has to be silent because you are being the best version of yourself you can be. I don’t look in the mirror and see wrinkles that need to be gone or look at the shape of my body and say to myself you need to be different. Self-acceptance is the key to loving yourself, and when you love yourself, you are loving an aspect of the Creator. It is only when the inner critic wins the battle that your life starts to implode. When you keep that frequency of self-love, manifestation of the things you want becomes commonplace. You can’t always be aware of how your words affect someone else because you don’t have the ability to make anyone feel anything. Individuals respond to you from their experience of life and there is no way you can account for the experiences of their journey. If you operate from that frequency of love, that is what you will get back. Letting go of your agenda is the test to allowing life to flow. I have come to know that there is divine timing to all things and sometimes you have to hold a frequency for years before everything lines up. But, if you keep telling yourself you are in the perfect place for this moment in time rather than using comparison as your yardstick of how your life is manifesting, you will find that the simplest things bring you joy. When you are in joy, magic happens—maybe not what you expect, but what you need to progress to the greatest version of yourself you can be. Expect magic. Magic happens even in the smallest way, but it happens. Getting complacent keeps you stuck; your life will not grow and change. Find those things that fill your soul and give yourself one every day. Expel the inner critic in your head and love yourself and each other. Blessings, Dove
