One of the Valley’s most appreciated nonprofits will be bringing back one of its most popular fundraising and outreach events. The Papoose Club announced it will hold the 64th annual downhill Kindercup race on Sunday, March 6, at Dollar Mountain in Sun Valley.
Kindercup is a free kids downhill race organized by Papoose Club volunteers in partnership with Sun Valley and the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. Non-sanctioned skiers and snowboarders between ages 3–12 are invited to participate.
Races will start around 10:15 a.m. The award ceremony for the top three racers in each category will be held after the races, usually around 1 p.m. Smiley’s Photo will be taking pictures. Pre-register your racers online at: papooseclub.org/kindercup-registrations. Online registration ends March 5; there will be no registration at the event.
Sponsoring this year’s event are the following: Black Tie Ski Rentals, Boulder Mountain Property Management, Cox, D.L. Evans, Idaho Lumber, Stinker Station, Sturtevants, and Sun Valley Community School.
