Fire Engine #101

The Ketchum Fire Department recently acquired its second engine, Fire Engine #101. This Wildland Urban Interface Engine will be used to protect homes during wildfires and during other emergency fire situations. Following two winters of drought and early season heat, fire danger in the Wood River Valley is at an all-time high for this time of year. Residents and visitors are urged to use caution with recreational fires, campfires or other potential sources of ignition. Photo credit: City of Ketchum
