With the American Dream and Promise Act being a possibility to gain citizenship in the undocumented community, Rosseli Guerrero, ACLU advocacy fellow, resumed her project called the Butterfly Migration Project in order to urge Congress to pass the U.S. Citizenship Act of 2021 that would provide a pathway to citizenship for 11 million undocumented individuals. With 40 states already participating in this project (Idaho being one of them), we are hoping to get all 50 states to participate by sending in their butterflies and writing a message on the importance of new immigration reform through an online form and/or through mail, if possible.
The deadline for the Butterfly Migration Project will be April 12, in which then the butterflies will make their way to Washington, D.C., to be put up downtown and near the White House.
As a present committee member for this project, we want all—documented and undocumented—families and individuals to send in their butterflies to show their support.

Con el American Dream and Promise Act como una posibilidad de obtener la ciudadanía en la comunidad indocumentada, Rosseli Guerrero, miembro de defensa de la ACLU, reanudó su proyecto llamado Butterfly Migration Project con el fin de instar al Congreso a aprobar la Ley de Ciudadanía de estados Unidos de 2021 que proporciona un camino a la ciudadanía para 11 millones de indocumentados.
Con 40 estados que ya participan en este proyecto (Idaho es uno de ellos), esperamos que los 50 estados participen enviando sus mariposas y escribiendo un mensaje sobre la importancia de una nueva reforma migratoria a través de un formulario en línea y/o por correo si es posible.
