My name is Tamara Rowe and I’m proud to announce the official launch of Rosy Rover Training, LLC, to the Wood River Valley!
Twenty-five years ago, upon visiting the Wood River Valley for the first time, I was amazed and delighted how dog-friendly and loving the people were.
I am now delighted for the opportunity to be able to foster happy, healthy, harmonious partnerships between canines and their people in this amazing place. My passion is making your life the most enjoyable with Your Best, Best Friend.
I have been training animals since I adopted my first rescue dog 30 years ago.
In 2014, I began competing in AKC Obedience and Rally with my standard poodle, Rosy, who, due to life circumstances, became my service animal with an additional two years of training with a mentor.
In 2018, I began specifically utilizing Positive Reinforcement (R+) training methods and went on to become a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner through intensive study with world-renown instructor, Terry Ryan. I have since certified as a Puppy Start-Right Instructor, Fear-Free Professional Trainer, and am a member of the IIABC.
Rosy Rover Training, LLC is currently offering Puppy Passport/Operation Socialization Classes, Domestic Manners Classes (for all ages), Custom/Private Training, and Behavior Modification.
