OUR VOICE COUNTS

Anderson Performance Institute (API) is proud to support the local Kiwanis Club and its mission to uplift local youth. We are especially grateful to Herbert Romero for his dedication to including our jiu-jitsu school in this incredible program. His commitment to creating opportunities for young people, particularly within the Hispanic community, is truly inspiring.
At API, we believe in the power of sports to build discipline, confidence and resilience. Our youth program has been instrumental in providing a safe, structured environment where kids can learn valuable life skills through martial arts. Whether it’s boxing, wrestling, or jiu-jitsu, these disciplines teach hard work, respect and perseverance—qualities that benefit them both on and off the mat.
The impact of these programs is especially significant for Hispanic youth, who often face unique challenges. By offering access to high-quality training and mentorship, we help guide them toward positive futures, keeping them engaged in healthy activities and away from negative influences. However, we know that financial barriers prevent many children from participating in these transformative programs.
That’s why we’re calling on our community for more scholarships to ensure that every child, regardless of their financial situation, has the opportunity to train in boxing, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu. With your support, we can continue to change lives—one student at a time. If you’re interested in sponsoring a child’s training, please reach out and help us make a difference. Together, we can empower the next generation through martial arts! Please contact API at (208) 886-5646 or visit our website at www.api5bidaho.com.
