St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation completed its annual Employee Giving Campaign, Stronger Together, with 93% percent of St. Luke’s Wood River employees and 69% of physicians contributing. Of note, 31 departments reached 100% giving.
“I am deeply touched by the hospital team’s generosity. St. Luke’s Wood River employees donate at levels that are among the highest in the nation. They are incredibly committed to providing extraordinary care to our community,” said St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation’s Chief Development Officer Megan Tanous.
Employee giving donations support funds for fellow employees for emergency expenses, staff education, upgraded technology, as well as for community programs such as compassionate care, scholarships for mammography, mental health, and lymphedema. Every contribution to the St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation remains in the community, the foundation said.
