Sun Valley Community School will welcome author and journalist Diana Kapp on Monday, April 25, as part of Green Week. Hosted by the school’s Green Team—an Upper School student club whose mission is to inspire positive change in order to create a sustainable future for our community—Kapp will talk about her book Girls Who Green the World which spotlights 34 visionaries driving change in clean energy, waste reduction, sustainable food, fashion, ocean health, plastic alternatives, and activism.

The event will be held at Sun Valley Community School’s Trail Creek Campus’s Theater and is free and open to the public. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. and, in addition to the book talk, a roundtable will be hosted by Sun Valley Community School’s Green Team, followed by an audience Q&A, and a meet-and-greet with the author.

At this time, guests are welcome to wear masks, but it is optional; guests will need to complete a health screening.
