Blaine County School District announced that its Hemingway STEAM School has been officially certified by Cognia as an official science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) school. It’s an effort the school’s staff has been working toward the past five years. Now that it has been approved for accreditation, Hemingway STEAM will receive an annual stipend from the Idaho STEM Action Center.
“Hemingway has achieved STEM certification while maintaining its original commitment to integrate the arts. This was no easy task and we are proud of our staff for this achievement,” said Jim Foudy, Superintendent of the Blaine County School District.
