The second annual Locally Grown Guide is on stands now. New for this year, the Guide features Locally Grown Bingo, an interactive local food discovery game for the whole family. With 24 activities on the bingo card, it’s easy to play and win. Everyone who submits photos of a completed row and completing one of the listed activities will be entered to win local products.

“We created Locally Grown Bingo as a fun way to interact with the Locally Grown Guide and our local food community,” said Sun Valley Institute for Resilience communications manager Mike Gordon. “It’s a chance to become more familiar with our foodshed and uncover a new taste or experience that you didn’t know existed in the Valley.”

A Locally Grown Bingo card can be found in every copy of the Wood River Valley Locally Grown Guide. The free guide connects residents and visitors to high-quality seasonal food produced in our regional foodshed and invites everyone to experience the farms, food businesses and organizations that create the distinctive flavor of our community. Look for the Locally Grown Guide on Source Magazine racks, featured at local businesses and online at locallygrownguide.org. In addition to Locally Grown Bingo, the second edition of the Guide includes maps for easy navigation to businesses selling and serving local food and new listing sections for local beverage crafters and local food events.

The Locally Grown Guide (LGG) raises awareness of our local food producers and supporters. With over 100 local food business listings, informative articles, and interactive content, it is the only comprehensive resource for eating locally in the Wood River Valley. The Guide makes sourcing and eating locally fun and straightforward. In 2021, 3,500 Guides will be distributed to residents and visitors.
