The SUN Airport Art Committee (SAAC) is inviting artists to submit two-dimensional artwork for the next exhibition in the airport’s public spaces. The exhibition will feature 30 or more works of art on display beginning June 9.
An independent jury of representatives of the airport, the Hailey and Ketchum art commissions, local gallery owners, and art advocates will select the artwork. The upcoming show will be the 10th SUN Art exhibit installed at Friedman Memorial Airport.
The project is open to artists residing in Blaine County, Idaho, as well as all artists who create artwork inspired by Idaho. There is no fee to apply, nor will an honorarium be awarded. The application deadline is April 30. Jury review begins May 17 with selections announced May 26. Removal date is still to be determined but expected in the fall.
