Footlight Dance Centre, under the artistic direction of Hilarie Neely, is back performing live, starting with its annual school tour “Olympic Dances” from Jan. 25 through Feb. 4. The company of 15 dancers will present a show honoring the 2022 Olympic Winter Games being held in Beijing.
For over 30 years Footlight has provided our Blaine County students with free professional educational dance performances at the end of January. It has been part of the organization’s mission to expose/experience dance and other collaborating art forms in an educational setting. The company will present our free community performance on Thursday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. This performance will be held at the Wood River High School Performing Arts Theater, 1050 Fox Acres Road, at the Community Campus in Hailey.
