We, PROJECTOOLSUCCESS and the Crisis Hotline, are on our fifth year showcasing our youth leaders of greater Blaine County. They come from different backgrounds, but with similar and powerful stories. I believe it is crucial to not just pass the baton but to share it with our youth of today. So, with that, I am so excited and honored to announce this year’s Hispanic Heritage youth panel. The students are part of Latinos In Action of Wood River High School’s Leadership group. It is made of four courageous and compassionate young ladies. They are going to be speaking about their challenges and conflicts, but most of all about their achievements and contributions at school, at home, in their community and their personal journeys. It is important for us to take the time to hear them out and support them, this Wednesday, October 15, 5 p.m. at The Community Library in Ketchum. We are so grateful to Sun Valley Culinary Institute for being the dinner host and sponsor. Also, we are truly thankful to The Community Library for offering a safe and friendly space for our youth. We hope to see you there, dear community!

¡Latinos en Acción!
Nosotros, PROJECTOOLSUCCESS y the Crisis Hotline, llevamos 5 años presentando a nuestros jóvenes líderes del Condado de Blaine. Provienen de diferentes orígenes, pero comparten historias similares y conmovedoras. Creo que es crucial no solo pasar la posta, sino compartirla con nuestros jóvenes de hoy. Por eso, me emociona y me honra anunciar el panel juvenil de Herencia Hispana de este año. Los estudiantes forman parte del grupo de Liderazgo de Latinos en Acción de la Escuela Secundaria Wood River. Está compuesto por cuatro jóvenes valientes y compasivas. Hablarán sobre sus desafíos, conflictos, pero sobre todo, sobre sus logros y contribuciones en la escuela, el hogar, la comunidad y sus trayectorias personales. Es importante que nos tomemos el tiempo para escucharlas y apoyarlas este miércoles 15 de octubre a las 5 p.m. en la Biblioteca Comunitaria. Agradecemos enormemente al Instituto Culinario Sun Valley por ser el anfitrión y patrocinador de la cena. También estamos muy agradecidos con la Biblioteca Comunitaria por ofrecer un espacio seguro y acogedor para nuestros jóvenes. ¡Esperamos verlos allí, querida comunidad!
