A peaceful protest against the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), and the firing of federal workers, took place in downtown Hailey, near the library, on Main Street, Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025. Nearly 100 people hoisted signs and chanted to bring awareness to the controversial firing of federal workers by the current presidential administration. Several retired and fired federal workers were in attendance and spirits were high.
