Jesse Keefe of Bellevue made his Paralympic debut on Saturday in the 2022 Winter Paralympic Games in Beijing, China, placing 22nd in the men’s standing downhill Para-alpine skiing event with a time of 1:22.48. “Today was one of the biggest races I’ve ever had in my life,” Keefe said. Keefe had his right foot amputated at 11 months old after he was born without a right ankle bone. He will be back in action on Saturday, March 12, in the men’s slalom event.
