Many years ago, when my daughter was taking a calligraphy course, she made me an incredible book with inspirational thoughts to guide me each day.  She put a tremendous amount of effort into this amazing piece of art; some were beautiful quotes from well- known artists, and some were her own thoughts to share.  Today, I opened my cherished book to a page that stated, “ If my want is not the same as you, Please pause before you correct my view.”  This is an interesting concept to consider and so often we only view our opinion as being the one that is correct.  What if we took the time to allow other evaluations of a subject to cross that line in our consciousness.  Those of us that had parents that grew up in the “Great Depression” era learned to save everything as the shortages that existed could happen again.  That belief system was so ingrained in our psyche that we have carried it into our lives without considering how a belief in shortage or lack creates that reality in our world.  It takes consciousness to examine all the beliefs we are holding that no longer serve us.  Do I really need to keep that piece of lumber, or that plastic cottage cheese carton that could be used to store something, or that piece of fabric that I’m not sure what to do with it.  I examine my clutter and realize that I do use much of what I have stored in case of an emergency however, when the idea of shortage becomes a belief system, you can get bogged down with things that take up your energy and accomplishes nothing.  I am trying to become proactive in releasing that which no longer serves me.  Letting go of all those things that suck your energy is a place to start but it does take evaluation.  I think we as a population are moving into a new space of waking up and getting rid of the thoughts that clutter our mind.  Do you find yourself stewing over the same old thoughts?  How do you stop the repetition?  Well, you do something about the repetitive thoughts, you recognize them and look for an answer that brings you joy.  Then, you take action to remove the old energy from your world.  When the thing that disturbs you is removed from your environment, it ceases to consume your energy.  Look at what you surround yourself with.  Does it still bring you joy?  If not, release it and let it bring someone else joy.  You are the creator of your world.  Create what pleases you.  Blessings always, Dove
