On Friday, June 30, 2023, MESH Gallery in Ketchum will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a party from 5-7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend the celebration. Free food and beverages will be served.
MESH Gallery is located at 420 4th Street East, in Ketchum. It is situated next to Town Square and across the street from Atkinsons’ Market.
MESH Gallery is housed in what was the original Catholic church in Ketchum, built in 1884. The father-and-son team of Jeff and Kyle Lubeck opened MESH Gallery to the public on the last weekend of June, 2013. “We arrived at the MESH name by combining the first two letters of our dogs’ names, Merry and Shae,” says Kyle. “Both were rescue pups from the Wood River Animal Shelter.” The Wood River Animal Shelter is now called Mountain Humane.
“The gallery was Kyle’s idea,” says Jeff. “He presented a business plan. Its requirement was we operate as a business and produce something we love.”
Jeff Lubeck is a fine art photographer who specializes in landscapes, action, astrophotography and wildlife. Lubeck often spends multiple days in the backcountry, off-trail, searching for the perfect image to capture.
MESH Gallery does its own printing and framing. “Because of the high-end nature of the photographic gear and printer, we have sold works as large as 18 feet in width,” says Kyle.
