On Sunday, June 26, at approximately 7:52 p.m. Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Polaris Razor crash approximately eleven miles out Muldoon Canyon Road.
The crash scene investigation determined that four individuals were traveling eastbound in the Razor, when it went off the embankment, flipping and hitting a tree, and then came to a resting position on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
The driver, a 17-year-old male juvenile, was taken by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise with serious injuries. Three passengers Oscar Ramirez Gonzalez, age 20, Mario Lizarraga, age 25, and Juan Luis Andrade Alvarez, age 20, all of Hailey went by ground ambulance to St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center with injuries.
It is unclear if any of the vehicle’s occupants were wearing seat belts. None of the individuals were wearing helmets. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
