Some great news from Wood River Middle School! We headed down to the regional tournament for the Idaho Battle of the Books at Victory Middle School on Saturday. Idaho Battle of the Books, or IBOB, is a statewide voluntary reading motivation and comprehension program open to all Idaho students in grades 4-9, regardless of ability. 32 teams competed in the tournament. The Fruity Kanyes and the Page Turning Potatoes, our school’s top two teams, attended. The Fruity Kanyes made it to the quarterfinals, and the Page Turning Potatoes won the tournament!
