Unlicensed Driver Strikes Two Ketchum Pedestrians

On Saturday, Oct. 30, at approximately 4:52 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff deputies responded to a report of a vehicle-versus-pedestrians collision on Sun Valley Road at Leadville Avenue in Ketchum.

Crash scene investigation determined that Aldo Quinones Inga, age 38, of Bellevue, was driving a red 2004 F-150 pickup truck west on Sun Valley Road with a passenger. Aldo told police that as he approached the intersection with Leadville Avenue, the sun was shining in his face and he could not see. Branden Howard Robinson, age 25, of Filer, and Tristan Ann Robinson, age 24, of Pocatello, were crossing Sun Valley Road in the crosswalk when Aldo’s vehicle struck and drove over both Branden and Tristan, dragging them into the intersection. Aldo stopped his vehicle on the other side of the intersection.

Both Branden and Tristan received significant injuries. Branden was sent via air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center l in Boise. Aldo was issued a misdemeanor citation for Reckless Driving and Failure to Purchase a Driver’s License.
