Each summer Kneeland Gallery invites its own group of plein-air painters to participate in an artistic celebration featuring gatherings and events throughout the week. Paint-outs, demonstrations and a plein-air workshop all feature in the event and spectators, fellow artists and collectors can enjoy the finished paintings at the culminating reception on the final day. The participating artists this year are Steven Lee Adams, Ovanes Berberian, Jack Braman, John Horejs, Shanna Kunz, Lori McNee, Caleb Meyer, Robert Moore, Silas Thompson and Bart Walker. The schedule is as follows: on Wednesday, August 5, the 10 artists paint at Murdock Creek in the SNRA. Spectators are invited to watch them at work and learn from their different techniques while observing a respectful 6-foot distance from them and each other. On Thursday, August 6, the group will all paint at the scenic Sawtooth Botanical Gardens in Ketchum. There is a $5 charge to enter the gardens. On Friday, August 7, Ovanes Berberian will give a still-life painting demonstration in the Kneeland Gallery Courtyard at 2:30 p.m. Limited seating will be provided with social distancing maintained. A reception will follow at 5 p.m. where the works from the week will be on display.
