Each March we join Meals on Wheels programs across the country to educate and fundraise for one of our most critical services.
Did you know… The Senior Connection provides Meals on Wheels services to all of Blaine County, including Carey and north of Ketchum?
Did you know… Meals on Wheels not only provides a nutritious meal but also a friendly face and a safety check? Eighty percent of home-delivered meal recipients live alone and the volunteer delivering the meal is often the only person they will see that day. Frequent visits provide unique opportunities for us to meet nutritional needs, combat social isolation, and address safety hazards.
Did you know… Our dedicated team of volunteers drives over 330 miles and offers up over 40 hours of time each week? The Meals on Wheels program could not operate without them!
