I notice my energy getting an upbeat vibe as we start going into the expectation of spring. I feel like something is in the air and I have no clue what it is, but it is hopeful in frequency. This is an interesting place to live, as the desire to create something of grace, uniqueness and fun is triggering my imagination. I started a creative project for my daughter’s birthday from a request she had made about two years ago. I found a sewing pattern that fit the bill but it has been the most complex creation I have ever sewn. But, I finally have figured it out and can see success blossoming on the horizon.
Sometimes we take on challenges that are extreme and we ask ourselves why did we do that? I think the answer is because our soul wants to continue to grow and our mind needs to continue to expand in ability in order to be alive. I know the easiest thing would be to just accept the same old same old, but then my energy field diminishes, and I don’t continue to become more.
Do you choose a goal of challenging yourself in some aspect of your life? If you do, from my perspective you are on the right track because you are living a new adventure daily or at least weekly. This is important; if you don’t consistently create new brain pathways, I think your brain gets bored and forgets how to expand. Make a list, a bucket list so to speak, and see what comes up for you. Keep expanding your bucket list to include more and more adventures or creations as then you will always have something to look forward to. A bucket list is not about doing certain things before you die; for me, it is about having new things to anticipate while keeping the comfort of the familiar.
I just had a friend who was diagnosed with a type of cancer and her hospital counselor ask her about her bucket list. That is something to consider, because who wants to journey out of this existence without exploring it to the max? There is a saying about checking out of this world in a pristine body or leaving it all worn out and used up to the max. It is always our choice as to what journey we want to take—one of safety and sameness, or do we have the courage to change it up? The energy out there is expanding. Play with it and see what you want to create. After all, the human being is one of the most creative species in the universe. It is a gift to embrace. Wait until you see my dragon. Blessings, Dove
