They come from different backgrounds, but with similar and powerful stories. I believe it is crucial to not just pass the baton but to share it with our youth of today. So, with that, I am so excited and honored to announce this year’s Hispanic Heritage youth panel. The students are part of Latinos In Action of Wood River High School’s Leadership group. It is made of four courageous and compassionate young ladies. They are going to be speaking about their challenges and conflicts, but most of all about their achievements and contributions at school, at home, in their community and their personal journeys. It is important for us to take the time to hear them out and support them, this Wednesday, October 15, 5 p.m. at The Community Library in Ketchum. We are so grateful to Sun Valley Culinary Institute for being the dinner host and sponsor. Also, we are truly thankful to The Community Library for offering a safe and friendly space for our youth. We hope to see you there, dear community!

Nuestra Voz CuentA
