Executive &amp;amp; Artistic Director Emily Meister, nominated by<br \/>\nboard member Marty Kaplan, delivered a compelling presentation to the group &#8211; sharing The<br \/>\nLiberty Theatre Company\u2019s work, impact and future needs &#8211; leading to robust support from<br \/>\ndonors.<br \/>\nHighlights of the Presentation &amp;amp; Vision:<br \/>\n\u25cf TLTC is a Wood River Valley regional professional theatre company.<br \/>\n\u25cf The company has embraced a dual mission:<br \/>\n\u25cb World-class professional theatre, bringing national artistry together with powerful<br \/>\nlocal talent.<br \/>\n\u25cb Radical access, most notably through their Pay\u2011What\u2011You\u2011Feel Season Pass<br \/>\nmodel, ensures that theatre remains accessible to all, regardless of economic<br \/>\nmeans. In the past two seasons, pass sales grew from 600 to 800+ and<br \/>\nattendance overall has increased nearly 400%.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf TLTC serves nearly 8,000 patrons each season, with each new production contributing<br \/>\nsignificantly to the cultural fabric of the valley, and the overall vitality of downtown Hailey.<br \/>\n\u25cf In addition to mainstage productions like Waitress, their highest grossing, most attended,<br \/>\nand most expensive production to date &#8211; the company offers educational programming, a<br \/>\nhigh school apprenticeship program, Spanish\u2011language storytelling experiences, free<br \/>\nperformances with the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, and an ever-growing 24\u2011Hour<br \/>\nTheatre Festival open to all ages.<\/p>\n<p>With these funds, TLTC will:<br \/>\n\u25cf Strengthen its 2025\u20132026 production season, covering key operating and production<br \/>\ncosts.<br \/>\n\u25cf Support its educational and radical access programming.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Begin planning for monthly community artist readings and creative workshops, building a<br \/>\nsustainable space for nurturing emerging voices and evolving company artistry.<br \/>\n\u201cWe are deeply honored and so grateful to receive this support from 100 Men Who Care Wood<br \/>\nRiver Valley,\u201d said Meister. \u201cThis gift is an incredible acknowledgment of their belief in our<br \/>\nmission to create professional theatre that is both artistically ambitious and radically accessible.<br \/>\nWe are excited to invest these funds into our community, our artists, and the future of<br \/>\nstorytelling in our valley.\u201d<br \/>\nAbout 100 Men Who Care Wood River Valley<br \/>\nEstablished in 2013 by Marty Lyon, 100 Men Who Care brings together local members four<br \/>\ntimes per year. Each contributes $100 and listens to brief pitches from three nominated<br \/>\nnonprofit organizations.
