Tidwell told him she wanted to sponsor the column and have it published through the Wood River Weekly, Romero said.<br \/>\n\u201cShe said, \u2018It\u2019ll be nice for you to highlight what the youth are doing here in the community. And for sure, any other Hispanic initiative or the Latino community. You run it, you lead it. I\u2019m just going to finance it and, of course, I\u2019ll be following up and reading the articles,\u2019\u201d Romero recalled.<br \/>\nSince then \u2014 from bilingual pandemic coverage, addressing housing issues and highlighting all parts of successful Hispanic\/Latino individuals across the Wood River Valley \u2014 this column has been a need for its growing Spanish-speaking community. Because of this, the Nuestra Voz Cuenta column is hoping to campaign and raise $3,000 to continue to serve the Latino community.<br \/>\n\u201cWe\u2019re people that are business-minded, professionals, directors, and artists, and we want to continue to showcase that,\u201d Romero said.
