Fly Sun Valley Alliance (FSVA), in partnership with Sun Valley Resort and Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN), has announced that the SUN airline flight schedule for the 2025-26 winter season will offer daily nonstop flights to seven cities\u2014Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, and Salt Lake City\u2014with additional frequency on most existing routes and new nonstop service on American Airlines.
\nAmerican Airlines has announced that it will inaugurate new daily nonstop service from Phoenix (PHX) and Chicago (ORD) to SUN for the winter season on December 18, adding another major airline to the roster of air service options for SUN travelers. The Chicago flights will run daily December 18 through April 6, and the Phoenix flight will run daily during that same period but will be modified to run five times per week from January 6 through February 11.\u00a0\u201cAmerican is excited to offer brand new service to Sun Valley. We look forward to welcoming customers onboard our aircraft and offering seamless connections to more than 150 destinations around the world,\u201d stated Jordan Pack, American\u2019s director of domestic network planning.
\nDelta Air Lines, which serves Sun Valley year-round, will offer three daily nonstop flights from Salt Lake City (SLC), a nonstop flight from Seattle (SEA) daily from December 20 through January 5 and three times weekly from February 13 through March 29, and a nonstop flight from Los Angeles (LAX) on Saturdays from December 20 through March 28.
\nUnited Airlines will increase its daily year-round nonstop service from Denver (DEN) to two flights daily from December 10 through April 5 and will offer daily nonstop flights from Chicago (ORD) from December 18 through April 5. United will expand its service to Los Angeles (LAX) to run daily December 3-8, and then from December 11\u2013April 5, with an additional daily flight from December 18\u2013January 5, and on weekends from January 16\u2013April 5. United\u2019s San Francisco (SFO) flights will run daily from December 11 through April 5 and adding a second daily flight December 18 through January 5, and on weekends from January 9 through April 5.
\nAlaska Airlines, which flies nonstop from Seattle (SEA), will offer two weekly flights from November 2 through December 14, increasing to daily flights from December 18 through April 21, with additional daily flights two to four\u00a0times a week from December 18 through March 8.
\n\u201cThis winter our local residents and visitors will have more air access options than ever at SUN due to the new service and routes offered by American Airlines and increased frequency on most of the existing routes,\u201d said Carol Waller, executive director of Fly Sun Valley Alliance.
