From my first connection with Herbert Romero and Tammy Davis, in 2021, I knew their work was vital to this community, and I was excited to be a small part of it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">I am honored to share\u00a0Hailing C\u00e9sar, a deeply personal film chronicling my journey to understand my grandfather C\u00e9sar Ch\u00e1vez\u2019s legacy and the ongoing fight for farmworkers\u2019 rights. Through these screenings and discussions, I hope to inspire dialogue about activism, social justice, and the power of storytelling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Audiences will experience the film and engage in discussions about its themes, my filmmaking journey, and how my grandfather\u2019s work still resonates today. These conversations are a chance to reflect on history, address current issues, and explore ways we can create change.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">From past events at The Community Library to visiting local schools, I\u2019ve met incredible people working to uplift Latino voices and highlight our contributions. Desde mi primer contacto con Herbert Romero y Tammy Davis, en 2021, supe que su trabajo era vital para esta comunidad y me entusiasm\u00f3 ser una peque\u00f1a parte de ella.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Es un honor para m\u00ed compartir \u201cHailing C\u00e9sar\u201d, una pel\u00edcula profundamente personal que narra mi camino para comprender el legado de mi abuelo, C\u00e9sar Ch\u00e1vez, y la lucha continua por los derechos de los trabajadores agr\u00edcolas. A trav\u00e9s de estas proyecciones y charlas, espero inspirar el di\u00e1logo sobre el activismo, la justicia social y el poder de la narraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">El p\u00fablico experimentar\u00e1 la pel\u00edcula y participar\u00e1 en debates sobre sus temas, mi trayectoria cinematogr\u00e1fica y c\u00f3mo la obra de mi abuelo sigue vigente hoy en d\u00eda.
