The time to find out is upcoming and you might be wondering the specifics of who is running, what their party is and all the ensuing deadlines.<br \/>\nThe information below comes directly from the people who know. It\u2019s time to make a decision, get out there and change the landscape as you see fit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Early Voting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Early voting for the May Primary Election is April 29 through May 17.<br \/>\nEarly voting begins the fourth Monday (three weeks prior) of an election.<br \/>\nEarly voting takes place on the first floor of the Blaine County Courthouse, Monday\u2013Friday, 8 a.m.\u20135 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The last day for early voting is always the Friday before the election.<\/p>\n<p>Sample Ballots can be found at<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/www.co.blaine.id.us\/1115\/Sample-Ballots<\/p>\n<p>Who\u2019s Running in the May 2024 Election<\/p>\n<p>Commissioner District 1:<\/p>\n<p>Chris Johnson (D)<br \/>\nLindsay Mollineaux (D)<\/p>\n<p>Commissioner District 3:<\/p>\n<p>Angenie McCleary (D)<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff<\/p>\n<p>Morgan Ballis (D)<br \/>\nSteve Harkins (D)<br \/>\nAaron Hughston (R)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prosecuting Attorney<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Matt Fredback (D)<\/p>\n<p>Precincts<\/p>\n<p>Blaine County has 16 voter precincts.<br \/>\nPolls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.<br \/>\nEarly voting starts April 29 and continues until the Friday before the election.<br \/>\nYou may request an absentee ballot until May 10.
