Part of the Wanderlust series, the free talk will be held at Town Center West, 7 W Croy, and live streamed.<br \/>\nA retired plant ecologist with The Nature Conservancy, Moseley will share many images and discuss an area considered the most floristically diverse temperate ecosystem on earth and the cultural uses and traditions of ethnic groups of the region. He is the author of Khawa Karpo: Tibetan Traditional Knowledge and Biodiversity Conservation.<br \/>\n\u201cBob\u2019s decades-long career with The Nature Conservancy has taken him all over the world,\u201d commented Fletcher, the library\u2019s education and engagement manager, \u201cAfter running the Idaho Conservation Data Center in Boise for many years and coauthoring a great field guide to Rocky Mountain wildflowers, he joined The Nature Conservancy as Director of Conservation Science in China. This work took him to the Yunnan-Tibet border at the eastern edge of the Himalaya, an area traversed by three of the world\u2019s great rivers, the Yangtze, Mekong, and Salween.\u201d<br \/>\nFletcher continued, \u201cFor six years Bob led large, site-based projects to establish new national parks in the high mountains of Yunnan Province, a place of extraordinary cultural and biological diversity.
