\"\"Next Saturday, Aug. 12,\u00a0The Community Table\/La Mesa Comunitaria will be hosting a\u00a0Peruvian Pachamanca\u00a0at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden from 12-3 p.m. The Peruvian community has been helping to plan it, and they are ready to cook 25 chickens and two whole pigs in hot stone ovens they build. It\u2019s going to be DELICIOUS and FUN! Come as a guest or come as a volunteer \u2026 the Peruvian community is excited to share this meaningful cultural heritage with the whole community. In addition, there\u00a0will be all the usual fun for kids\u2014water bouncy house, arts and crafts, face painting, etc.<\/p>\n

If you want to\u00a0HELP, see below. Remember, students, you need to do at least a couple hours of community service each school year, so here are a bunch of ways to contribute….<\/p>\n

Saturday Aug. 5, 9 a.m., Move rocks and wood from 90 East Fork Road to Sawtooth Botanical Garden<\/p>\n

Friday, Aug. 11, 9 a.m., Grocery shop at Atkinsons\u2019 in Bellevue<\/p>\n

Friday, Aug. 11, 3-7 p.m., Prepare food at Sawtooth Botanical Garden kitchen<\/p>\n

Friday, Aug. 11, 6 p.m.,\u00a0Build stone firepits\/hornos\u00a0at Sawtooth Botanical Garden<\/p>\n

Saturday, Aug. 12, 8 a.m., Start cooking, continue prepping food<\/p>\n

Saturday, Aug. 12, 12-3 p.m.,\u00a0THE MAIN EVENT!\u00a0Pachamanca\u00a0BBQ\u00a0+ games, arts and crafts, resources, bouncy castle, and fun for the whole family. FREE!<\/p>\n

Rather than create volunteer links for all of the above, here is one for Saturday: There are three shifts from\u00a010 a.m.\u201312 p.m.,\u00a012 p.m.\u20132 p.m., and\u00a02 p.m.\u20134 p.m. If you want to help during other time slots, please just email me back and let me know you will be there.<\/p>\n

La comunidad peruana ha estado ayudando a planificarlo y est\u00e1n listos para cocinar 25 pollos y dos cerdos enteros en hornos de piedra caliente que construyen. \u00a1Ser\u00e1 DELICIOSO y DIVERTIDO! Venga como invitado o venga como voluntario… La comunidad peruana est\u00e1 emocionada de compartir este importante patrimonio cultural con toda la comunidad. Adem\u00e1s, habr\u00e1 toda la diversi\u00f3n habitual para los ni\u00f1os: casa inflable con agua, manualidades, pintura de caras, etc.<\/p>\n

Si quieres AYUDAR, vea abajo. Recuerden, estudiantes, deben hacer al menos un par de horas de servicio comunitario cada a\u00f1o escolar, as\u00ed que aqu\u00ed hay varias formas de contribuir…<\/p>\n
