Come celebrate the Environmental Resource Center\u2019s longest running program while making our community even more beautiful!<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>The 2023 Clean Sweep will take place on Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Participation is free and easy. Meet at one of the following locations starting at 9 a.m. to register and pick up garbage bags. We encourage you to bring a pair of work or garden gloves. Complimentary breakfast snacks and hot drinks will be provided. Costumes encouraged!<\/p>\n \u2022 ERC Office in Ketchum (471 Washington Ave.)<\/p>\n \u2022 Hop Porter Park, by the arch, in Hailey (126 W. Bullion St.)<\/p>\n \u2022 Memorial Park in Bellevue (between Cedar and Elm)<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>If you can\u2019t make it and are interested in having your own Clean Sweep the week leading up to May 6, please contact the ERC for more information so that we can accommodate that request.<\/p>\n \u00a0 <\/span>Once you have your gloves, fun costumes and trash supplies, fan out and pick up trash in your chosen area until 11:30 a.m. Participants can celebrate their good work with a lunch gift certificate, which is provided in the registration packet. All participants are also entered into a raffle with great local prizes.<\/p>\n \u00a0 <\/span>Take pictures of your group, costumes, and any \u201cinteresting items\u201d you find for a chance to win prizes. Email the pictures to info@ercsv.org and tag us on your social media accounts with @ERCSunValley.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Teams can also participate in the Trash Challenge! Teams will receive one point for each member of their team, one point for each member that is dressed up, and one point for each full bag of trash picked up. After the event, points will be tallied up valley-wide, and the winning team will be announced and highlighted on the ERC\u2019s website online.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Winners of the competitions, as well as the raffle drawings, will be contacted individually by the ERC.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>If you are in a position to support Clean Sweep and the ERC\u2019s recycling outreach programs financially, we encourage you to make a donation to the ERC through our homepage at ercsv.org, or by calling the ERC office directly.
