Eduardo\u2019s political and activist background influenced his feature documentary, \u201cHailing C\u00e9sar,\u201d released April 2018. Since its debut, Eduardo has screened \u201cHailing C\u00e9sar\u201d and spoken at 50-plus universities in three different countries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">In addition to being a director, speaker and activist, Eduardo is the co-founder of Latindia Studios and a member of the Speakers\u2019 Board for the Ch\u00e1vez Institute for Law and Social Justice. Eduardo is also the host of the podcast We Are Latinx. Launched this year, he interviews Latinx individuals about their work and how their culture shapes it. It is now streaming on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">On March 30 and 31, Eduardo Ch\u00e1vez will be showcasing his film to different schools in honor of C\u00e9sar Ch\u00e1vez Day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">Eduardo Ch\u00e1vez, grandson of C\u00e9sar Ch\u00e1vez, will be showing his powerful film, \u201cHailing C\u00e9sar,\u201d to Wood River students throughout Blaine County.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">Ch\u00e1vez came to the Wood River Valley in March 2021 in person, and virtually, although it was a limited experience due to COVID.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u201cWe are excited that he is coming back in person with a greater audience to share how he is continuing Ch\u00e1vez\u2019s legacy,\u201d said Herbert Romero, community organizer in the Wood River Valley. \u201cPlease join us at The Community Library in Ketchum for a lecture and at the Community Campus in Hailey to see the film.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">Ch\u00e1vez will be at the following schools: Sun Valley Community School from 10:30\u201311:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30; Wood River Middle School from 8:30\u201310:30 a.m. on Friday, March 31; Wood River High School at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 31; and Silver Creek High School at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 31.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">His film will be showcased at The Community Library on Thursday at 6 p.m. and at the Community Campus on Friday at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><b>NUESTRA VOZ CUENTA<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">\u201cComo nieto del legendario activista por los derechos civiles C\u00e9sar Ch\u00e1vez y del revolucionario cubano Max Lesnik, Eduardo Ch\u00e1vez es el v\u00e1stago de dos familias revolucionarias.
