OUR VOICE COUNTS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

With the Hispanic Heritage event already wrapped up this weekend, the celebration of being part of the Latinx community is such a memorable and culturally opening experience that happens every day, not just for this month.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hispanic Heritage Month takes place from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, and many communities around the United States take bigger measures during this month to honor our Latinx members for what they do in their communities and the impact their words have for upcoming generations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although I was not present for the Hispanic Heritage event in Blaine County, it was amazing to see this event through Facebook live and pictures friends and family would post. It has demonstrated to me that this event and others of similar nature in the past has changed the opportunities for us, to truly embrace our cultures and to live more comfortably in the Valley.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our food, our language, and style of music all tell a story and this event is just one chapter of what more we will continue to share.<\/span><\/p>\n

NUESTA VOZ CUENTA<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Con el Evento de la Herencia Hispana ya concluido este fin de semana, la celebraci\u00f3n de ser parte de la comunidad Latinx es una experiencia memorable y culturalmente abierta que ocurre todos los d\u00edas, no solo para este mes.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Mes de la Herencia Hispana se lleva a cabo del 15 de septiembre al 15 de octubre, y muchas comunidades de los Estados Unidos toman medidas m\u00e1s grandes durante este mes para honrar a nuestros miembros Latinos por lo que hacen en su comunidad y el impacto que sus palabras tienen para sus pr\u00f3ximas generaciones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aunque no <\/span>estuve presente en el Evento de la Herencia Hispana en el Condado de Blaine, fue incre\u00edble ver este evento a trav\u00e9s de Facebook en vivo y fotos que amigos y familiares publicaban. Me ha demostrado que este evento y otros de naturaleza similar en el pasado han cambiado las oportunidades para nosotros, para abrazar verdaderamente nuestras culturas y vivir m\u00e1s c\u00f3modamente en el valle.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nuestra comida, nuestro idioma y estilo de m\u00fasica cuentan una historia y este evento es solo un cap\u00edtulo de lo que m\u00e1s continuaremos compartiendo.<\/span><\/p>\n
