Due to the location of the crash up a steep hillside on the ridgeline, deputies were not able to access the crash with their patrol vehicles or utility terrain vehicles (UTV). Using all-terrain vehicles (ATV), deputies reached the ridgetop to assist Wood River Fire &amp; Rescue and Air St. Luke\u2019s with the rescue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The crash scene investigation determined that two individuals were attempting to drive a 1997 black Land Rover Defender up a steep trail with a substantial side hill and lost control when the front passenger wheel went over an embankment, leaving the vehicle teetering on two wheels. Air St. Luke\u2019s was able to land on the ridge approximately 200 yards from the crash.
