Blaine County Education Foundation (BCEF) awarded almost half of those scholarships worth over $120,000. Some of those scholarships are multi-year scholarships, and all of the scholarships have a specific criteria for a range of student interests, from the first to attend college in their family, political interests, to a student interested in a two-year program like mechanics or cosmetology.<\/p>\n
There were amazing applicants and students with big dreams. Some students hope to open their own restaurant or come back and teach in the Blaine County School District. A few students even want a degree in neuroscience to heal the world one patient at a time. It is our job to help provide the best education and tools for all students to succeed. After all, they hold the key to our future.<\/p>\n
Blaine County Education Foundation, our board, donors and volunteers have a great devotion for student success in our community. BCEF is proud to support all students, pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, at all eight BCSD schools. They are the only organization working on behalf of all students throughout Blaine County public schools. BCEF works directly with BCSD teachers, social workers, counselors and administrators to bring additional support to students.
