This year brings together more than 20 community groups and individuals who are providing activities and fun events to share our growing awareness of our shared responsibilities to the Earth while celebrating our appreciation of the bountiful gifts of nature.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Earth Day Fest, April 21-25, 2022, is being organized by the\u00a0Climate Action Coalition of the Wood River Valley and has gathered events taking place from Thursday, April 21, through Monday, April 25, to\u00a0present some of the solutions that we can each make to protect the Earth and slow global warming.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">No one has to travel far to join in one of the events and most of them are free. From a talk at the Hailey Public Library on Friday that reminds us of the dangers to local wildlife when we plant yew trees or shrubs in our yards, to Saturday\u2019s Earth Day 5K, starting at Hailey Town Center, to all the events following at Town Center, the Blaine County County Courthouse, the Upper Big Wood River Grange Hall, and Kiwanis Park at Balmoral for an afternoon of family fun, activities, music and food.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">To find out more about all events, go to CACWRV.org and join all of us in celebrating Earth Day 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>D\u00eda de la Tierra <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>en el valle de Wood River <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>NUESTRA VOZ CUENTA<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Quiz\u00e1s un mejor nombre podr\u00eda ser \u201cGracias al D\u00eda de la Tierra.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Las celebraciones del D\u00eda de la Tierra han estado ocurriendo formalmente en los Estados Unidos durante 52 a\u00f1os y el Valle de Wood River est\u00e1 empezando a convertirlo en un evento anual.
