\"\"Hailey\u2019s 2nd Annual Snow Carving event was a big, fun-filled success. Hundreds of folks of all ages came by throughout the day to watch the carvings, enjoy some food and drinks in the glorious winter sunshine and check out nearly a dozen vendor booths.<\/p>\n

The snow blocks were carved into artwork by nine talented teams: The Advocates for Survivors of Domestic Violence, BACA: Bikers Against Child Abuse, Grocery Outlet, Kiwanis Club, Liberty Theatre Company, Outdoor Hispanic Leaders Club & The Community Table, NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness, Wood River Legacy Softball Association and a monument to Blaine County First Responders.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"The event was put on by the hardworking team from the City of Hailey, led by James LaPointe and Nancy Arellano, with help from the Hailey Public Library, Hailey Fire Department and The Chamber.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Snow Carving was made possible thanks to the generosity of local sponsors, including Atkinsons\u2019 Market, Big Belly Deli, Black Owl Coffee, Grocery Outlet, Hailey Coffee Company, Idaho Lumber, Karl Malone Ford, Men\u2019s Second Chance Living, Pioneer Federal Credit Union and an anonymous donor.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Chamber would like to thank everyone who helped make Hailey\u2019s newest winter event a joyful triumph of our community coming together to create public art.<\/span><\/p>\n
