{"id":16602,"date":"2021-08-25T01:48:19","date_gmt":"2021-08-25T01:48:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/woodriverweekly.com\/?p=16602"},"modified":"2021-08-24T20:50:56","modified_gmt":"2021-08-24T20:50:56","slug":"bcsd-arts-social-studies-curricula-open-to-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/woodriverweekly.com\/index.php\/2021\/08\/25\/bcsd-arts-social-studies-curricula-open-to-review\/","title":{"rendered":"BCSD Arts, Social Studies Curricula Open To Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Blaine County School District is inviting parents and community members to take part in a curriculum review process for its 2021-22 Arts Education and Social Studies Education programs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Four community members will be selected to serve on a committee that will examine standards clarification and priorities, curriculum and assessment upgrades and the identification and selection of instructional materials to recommend to the BCSD Board of Trustees.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAs we take a look at our curriculum in these two important subjects, we want our families and district residents to play a key role in the process,\u201d said Adam Johnson, BCSD assistant superintendent. \u201cWe appreciate those who are willing to dedicate their time, energy and talents to this effort.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Those interested in serving are asked to apply by Wednesday, Sept. 8 by completing an online form.
