With many RSVPing to attend this event, especially with more than half being Hispanic/Latino, it was beneficial to have this workshop presented in English and in Spanish.

As a member of the Hispanic community, it was amazing to see so many of my community attend an event like this to bring more awareness to their eating and how that can affect their health, especially for women. Not only that, but how all members participated by asking endless questions and commenting on how they stay on track with their health and busy lifestyles.

Thanks to Clayville, Schattenkerk and Romero, we laughed, we participated, we ate, but most importantly, we learned to stay aware of the foods we need to nourish our bodies with—a definite success!

NUESTRA VOZ CUENTA
