She graduated from Wood River High School in 2017 and went to college at the University of Notre Dame, where she is graduating this spring with a bachelor of arts degree in economics and minors in data science and sociology. During college, Michelle remained involved with her hometown, coming back each summer to work with various local nonprofits and city governments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\">These experiences, as well as the semester she spent working and studying in Washington, D.C., motivated her interest in policy research. After graduation, Michelle will return to Washington, where she will be working as a research assistant with the Center on Labor, Human Services and Population at The Urban Institute, researching child welfare issues and related policy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><b>NUESTRA VOZ CUENTA<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Michelle Casas creci\u00f3 en el Wood River Valley. Se gradu\u00f3 de Wood River High School en 2017 y fue a la Universidad de Notre Dame, donde se gradu\u00f3 esta primavera con una Licenciatura en Econom\u00eda y menores en Ciencias de Datos y Sociolog\u00eda.
